So about that time it was a spring-like Saturday in January.. Well, it rocked.
Walk to Eastern Market. Lunch by the outdoor fireplace at Lola’s. Wine on neighboring building’s rooftop. Reunion of girls with giggles and, obviously, karaoke.

Fresh fall-colored lilies to keep my new chairs company.
Homemade sweet potato fries ala The Sandwich King’s recipe.
Goat cheese and fig butter panini (inspired by Molly). The lion face that appeared on the outside of this one if far more fascinating than what’s on the inside.
Enjoying the beautiful weather outside at Lola’s.
And a pretty awesome walk home featuring some building you might recognize.
